  1. Mushola is a room used by Muslims for prayer. A mushola is not a mosque but rather a room set aside for prayer in locations such as an office building, hospital, airport, or train station. Any Moslem working in or passing through the building may pray in the mushola.
  2. Indonesian hotels provide complementary bottled water for the guests. In Indonesia, the water from the faucet is not potable; therefore, Indonesians drink bottled water or boil the water before drinking it.
  3. Semarang, the capital city of the province of Central Java (Provinsi Jawa Tengah), was an important port on the north shore of Java during the Dutch colonial era. The city has a number of historical sites which are popular tourist attractions such as Kota Lama (the old city) and the former railway building from the early 20th century called Lawang Sewu (Javanese, literally, a thousand doors). The downtown business area of Semarang is named Simpang Lima because it is at the intersection (simpang) of five (lima) streets with a city square at their meeting point.
